Slow Cooker Drive

Shirley Marr.
I cook with my slow cooker going down the road. We have a 1998 Roadtrek. I plug a 400 watt inverter into the 12volt outlet behind the TV and put the inverter on the counter using a piece of non-skid so it does not slid. I sit the slow cooker in the sink and drive. When we get to our destination mid-afternoon, our supper is ready to eat. I make chili, stew, soup, roasts... any dinner meat that you cook in the oven is great in the slow cooker. Important: To protect your battery, turn the inverter off when you stop then back on when you continue down the road. ENJOY!!
